Business Emails

Sometimes we have to write that business email or business letter in Portuguese and it turns very difficult because we do not know the correct expressions.

Today's post is a short list of useful phrases you may need when writing a business email or business letter. A business letter requires a more advanced Portuguese and is also necessary that the verbs used are not the Simple Present or Past Tense but other Tenses, to write the formal writing. This post on useful expressions (making the request, get information, and if complain) will be the first of many lists of useful expressions for business letters.

2.     Informar-se  (Get information)

ficaríamos encantados se... (we would be glad if…)

3.     se...(If)

gostaríamos de saber se... (we would be interested to know…)

poderia dizer-me se... (I would like to inquire whether)

informar-nos se...  (could you tell us whether…)

queira enviar-me... (please send me…)

4.     Reclamar (Complain)
